Oh, you wanted more? Fine, fine, just this once.
Yes, less that 1 week into using the service, and I’m filing a grievance against it. You see, Facebook has devised a system where users can say they greatly enjoy a thing, be it a status or a group, by pressing a simple button called “Like”. But there’s no way to undo this.
It’s like StumbleUpon, but in reverse – there’s no way to “dislike” a thing, nor can you reverse anything you “Like”. So, Facebook users have devised a way to get fake popularity by creating a nice hook for a title, and then delivering nothing but a cutesy “Click ‘Like’ Or You Are A Spawn Of Satan!” and no actual content.
…Anyhow, I hate this practice. It raises my hopes and then dashes them, dashes them like a sprinter.
